I have been carving stone for over 15 years and like most things life I am still learning.
I enjoy the challenge of creating and giving life to a sculpture formed from a piece of inanimate stone.
What intrigues me is the fact that the stone is millions of years old, by using simple tools (mallet and chisel) I reveal something that no-one has ever seen or touched before, a bit like walking on another planet.
